I kicked a guy in the back.

He then turned around and elbowed me in the knee.

No, we weren’t fighting. We were getting settled in before the Connecticut-Ohio State women’s basketball game yesterday.

Apologies were exchanged. I said we were even.

Syracuse … UConn … Madison Square Garden … enough said

Syracuse and UConn are playing at Madison Square Garden, so of course they were just talking on ESPN about their six-overtime epic in 2009.

I remember that I was going to go to bed after the second or third overtime, but stayed up, thinking, “I’ve come this far. I might as well stay until the end.”

I’ll be honest; I haven’t been all that excited about playing golf lately.

My sheer incompetence, even at the driving range, combined with the inability to do anything about it, has left me discouraged.
