It’s not even 5:00 yet, and it’s already almost dark.
I really, really hate this part.
There is literally no reason to be surprised by any of this. Actually, I’m not. I just act like it’s something new every year.
It happens every year.
Daylight Saving Time ends, and just like that, it starts to look like bedtime outside even before dinner.
But again …
It. Happens. Every. Year.
There is literally no reason to be surprised by any of this. Actually, I’m not. I just act like it’s something new every year.
Maybe a year is the perfect amount of time to forget how much I hate it.
And I really, really hate it.
Also things that start happening every year around this time: days continuing to get shorter, getting colder, snow, getting even colder, more snow, not getting warmer until May if we’re lucky.
And one more thing … me complaining about all of the above.
Yet when people complain about it getting hot in the summer, who do you think is the first guy to say, “Of course it’s hot. It’s summer. That’s what summer does.”?
That would be me.
Because I’m a hypocrite.
But seriously, I really, really hate this part.
I’m with you. I hate it too.
And I, geographically, live like 1,000 miles north of you, so the days are just that much shorter…

I was saying this the other day. I should be used to Daylight Savings but I am always so surprised when it’s dark at 5PM!

Yup … after all, it happens every year. But that’s me every year.

Interesting viewpoint. I think that most people don’t want DST and almost 90% of the world population lives in a area that no longer uses it
