When the rain stops

I barely left the house yesterday.

I decided to work at home instead of going to the office, and it was raining anyway, so I just hung out in a T-shirt and sweats.

But when my wife was running late because she went out with her co-workers, I was left on my own for dinner.

It was fine with me that she went out, but I did have to go get something to eat.

And when I pulled into the grocery store, there was a perfect rainbow over the parking lot.

I wasn’t in the store more than 10 minutes, but by the time I came out, the rainbow was mostly gone.

It doesn’t happen often, but my timing was perfect.
